muzzle ...not good :dunno: rifle 2" below the nose :chuckle:
-
Even though I am sure you could punch threw that small grass with a heavy muzzle loader bullet. I would still have to pass myself.
-
i love these call the shots!keep them coming!
-
I would wait. I could not take that shot with a muzzleloader....I just couldn't, I would have to wait and HOPE for a better opportunity.
-
With my ML set up I'd take that shot on the 1st day..... :chuckle:
-
Wait for better shot
-
I would shoot! He would be dead!

:yeah:

How far?
-
I voted for not big enough. If it was a permit hunt, I'm letting him walk. Over the counter tag I still might let him walk but if I did decide to shoot and was within 40 yards I'd let him have it just below his nose.
-
Dead deer..Now the pack out :bash:

How far?
45 yards
-
Take the shot, then the fun begins!
-
45 yards... Definitely an OTC shooter with a ML for me. Pass on the shot until a better opportunity comes. He's got me in his sights as well, though... a better opportunity might not come. My 460 gr can get there, I'm pretty sure... 45 yards is outer edge of my off-hand shooting into a 2 inch circle... he might get a third nostril out of the deal depending on if we're talking 8 am or fading light on last day??
-
Went back and looked close - not going to take that offhand shot.
Tag soup for me...
-
Pass. Don't like the shot, don't like the buck.
-
Pass, based on photo alone. Cannot tell how thick the grass/brush is below him. Could be a doe's head in the dark in front, never know. I would take it if I could see more hair clearly.
-
Dropping him right where he stands.... even if it's 5 minutes into legal shooting on opening morning.
I mean seriously people......
-
Pass.
Could be a doe standing broadside, head down and munching right in front him.
-
I'd kill him, but then the skull plate would be toast. :)

after the smoke clears, i'll go retrieve my buck
-
I would sneak in and jig em with my knife saving the lead for elk season... :chuckle:
Okay, Okay I would think about taking the shot.
-
Pass, hope he steps out where I can get a better look/shot.
-
give him another 15 yrds to make if more fair for him. ;)

Shoot it. Muzzleloader bullet weights are heavier and wouldn't have any problem with "logging the grass" that's in front of the deer.
-
Not a good shot. I would pass and hope for a better opportunity.
