the eastons are a good arrow but i switched to the gold tips and have had better luck with them not breaking, and flying more consistantly.  not to mention that they used to cost about 70$ a dozen, but they dont have that going for them anymore.

Easton ACC's or Carbon Express KV's in Washington to make weight.  Carbon Express Maxima everywhere else.  I've tried just about all of them and these were most consistant with my setup.

Made by and have the same quality are 2 different things.  There are tons of brands out there that are produced by top name companies but at lower specs.  That is why they are cheaper.

Archers are funny creatures.  We will spend $900 on a bow, $150 on a rest, $200 on a sight then buy the cheapest bow case and arrows that we can find.  :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:.  The price of carbon on the world market has gone through the roof.  $10 for a quality arrow is probably as good as it's going to get.

I put gold tips because that is what i shoot the most, and just bought some more of, but i have some of the easton axis n-fused, which were good arrows, they are more accurate than my gold tips, especially out at longer distances, but the gold tips are not far off, and they are cheaper, plus significantly more durable.

I have beat those things up and they are still in good shape. And if and when they do break, or i lose one it doesn't hurt as bad explaining to the wife why i need another dozen arrows. :chuckle:

Goldtips for me, I have always been pleased with them. I shoot the xt's and my family shoots the expeditions.

Wolverine Hunters from Wal-Mart.  They are made by Carbon Express and renamed for sale at Wal Mart.  I confirmed this with Carbon Express last year.  Wolverine Hunter's are the wal mart equivalent of the CE Terminator Hunter.  Full retail price right now is $5 each.  Hit them after the season and you can find them for $2 each.

Some may be.  The wolverine hunters are not.  They are CE Terminator Hunters in a wal-mart wrapper.  If you call CE, they'll tell you which wal mart arrows match up to their CE brand lines.  You may need to call a couple of times.  I can't remember the name of the lady that helped me but, I do remember calling 3 times before I got answers.  They may be more forward now, since the boxes at the store say Carbon Express on them this year and everyone can see that they are made by CE.  Last year, it took a bit of research to find out they were CE since they weren't marked anywhere that they were CE.

Make sense?

Shot Bemans, then gold tips, now I am shooting the easton Axis and will not change unless they come out with something that changes my mind.
