Title: How big is this color phase?
Post by: NWWABOWHNTR on August 28, 2011, 10:23:47 AM: Sorry, not sure what is wrong with my trail cam.. but this boar looks huge. I have only killed 7 bears, a few in Northern Alberta when I lived up there. My biggest was just over 300# up there, nothing over 250# here... most in the 150-200#. This bear looks big... very big. In my thread in the trail cam section you can compare it to a Bull standing in the same spot.... Now the fun begins... my ground blind will be 10 feet from where they are.... how big do you think this boar is?

Good call, I think we never think of it as "WOW, bet that bear has a 19 1/2 or 20" melon head!" FIrst thing I always look at when judging a bear is the head...
