Work. I prefer late archery for both elk and deer anyway. I hate getting an animal down a few miles back when it is pushing 80 degrees.
-
I'll be in Bogota Colombia...wishing i was in the USA deer and elk hunting. Maybe I'll be able to kill a few doves in September. Most likely I'll be home (in unit 124) for late Archery :IBCOOL:

I'm selling GPS Coordinates to this ground blind. 350lb color phased bear, some nice bulls and lots of cows. Ren hasn't even seen all the pictures I got from his camera this weekend. He has no idea what he will miss. Any bids???????

Not that hot here!
-
Yeah, :yeah:
-
Deer, I will be working..Elk, I'll be over in Rimrock!
-
Little Naches with everyone else  :rockin:
-
Havent made up my mind yet.......the choices you have retired, and living in 121 , are overwhelming. I know where Ill start for elk, but for deer, I will most likely jump around day to day.....least wise, until late season when Ill hunker down on a good trail or 2, or 3........... :IBCOOL:
-
I'll be in broken arrow draw for early Archery Buck, just early Archery Elk there are plenty of choices just to sit and wait for one to get pushed my way!good dilemma
-

I was about to say that's a handy camera, showing you where the elk will be in the future - who makes it, Delorean?
-
Ill be in the 652. Staying close to home. ;)

To work. I hate opening day on a Tuesday. :bash:
I'm w/you on the mid week opening.

Well I cant get any sleep! Might have to pull an all nighter just because I am so ready to get out into the woods at 4:30 this morning. Im heading into the place everyone says big foot is and all the elk escaped from and are on there way to the blues. :chuckle: :chuckle: I know where a few good bucks are. Hopefully they will be there today.
-
Well, I have to join the club and say that I am very excited for tomorrow. Packing up and heading east to hunt Elk finally. We set up camp last weekend and a couple guys have been there all week. We are staying for the entire season so it ought to be just enough time to recharge the soul and hopefully put some Elk backstraps in the freezer. We have 3 quality bull tags in our group this year so it should be a blast bringing the bulls in!
Good luck to all and I hope we can share some bull pics when we return rather than a pot of tag soup!

Good call. For whatever reason the BMM trained the Big Foot to ONLY kill elk. Big Foot is easily confused at times, and when confronted with a deer is unsure what to do. In all of my research I have never seen an instance where Big Foot ate a deer. Be safe out there and always watch your back. Big Foot doesn't eat deer but he does like to eat him some human. :yike:

Good luck. I look forward to the pics!

It is supposed to be in the upper 80's to low 90's for the opener of archery elk here on the wet side. I was gonna take it off but not in that kind of weather. I won't risk spoilage.

Funny, that's my exact plan as well. Backpacking in- best of luck.
