Because this guy started this thread with trail cam pics of a bull, not a bull that he had harvested, but now the pictures are gone.

Gotta stay hydrated..... :chuckle:. Just a after kill celebration beer.
-
Hard to see him good, took a picture of a picture. This was when I was 12 years old. Drew a Missouri River Breaks rifle tag my first year hunting.
6x7 , never did get a chance to score him. Some A-hole stole the antlers out of my buddies place where I had them stored.

Nice elk everybody keep them coming I'm liking the elk

This is my biggest bull, I shot this bull when I was 15 years old in 1996, in unit 329. This bull was a legal spike and was confirmed by the kittitas county sargent game warden at that time. At that time anything that branched below the ears didnt count so double eye guards were legal. Now the rule state's nothing can branch higher that four inche's from the base of the antlers.

Yes sir it is, just before the cattle guard where the tree's start. My family camped "hunted" that spot for many years including last year.
-
Absolutely terrific elk here guys.
More photos??? :)
-
My spike. Also my biggest elk. Checked by gamies on my way out. There exact words were "that is the ultimate spike".
