Title: 28ft Aspen Trailer hows it pull?
Post by: Yak-NDN on August 28, 2011, 09:27:31 PM
I am looking to buy a new Aspen Trail Travel Trailer 28ft but am unsure how it is going to pull? I do have a F350 with the 6.0 dsl I don't want to step up to a fifth wheel but I don't want to have a bumper pull that pulls like sh*t.

I've got a 28'cargo trailer 9' high inside probably pulls similar that I haul around with a F250 6.4. I've had it a bit over gross and it pulls way better too heavy than too light. I would recommend it. Go with a 5th wheel if you're need that much trailer. I've pulled a 26' travel trailer (bumper) from her to FL to AK no issues though with a chev 3500 dully no issues so might be a route to consider.
Good luck,
Josh

You'd probably have better luck getting an answer here.

I pull a 28ft Prowler bumper pull with a F250 6.0 Diesel.  Pulls just fine.

I pull a 28ft travel trailer with an 06 F350 6.0. I added a performance chip and cold air intake. Just didn't think it had enough power pulling the hills. Not very happy with the 6.0 for various reasons.
