Title: Is everyone else seeing more bear!
Post by: 7.62Warbird on September 01, 2011, 07:32:42 AM: Don't know if it's the cooler weather, shorter days, or berries but have been seeing more bears out and about in the last few days. Now if I could only shoot straight. :bash: :bash: I mean seriously I should just cut up my license and eat my tags for missing at 100yards!

I was in Souxan and Wind River GMUs this last week went out 4 times and tried calling no luck. Huckleberry bushes are absolutely loaded with ripe berries. I don't know if that is bad or good having so many almost anywhere you went down there. Last couple of evenings got pretty cool above 3500-4000 ft.
