In no particular order these seem to be the most popular: Ripcord, QAD Ultra, and the Trophy taker smackdown.

I have the Trophy taker smackdown and have been very pleased with it.

I have the G5 expert Pro and will probably replace it after this season. It has come loose twice. Once it flew completely apart and ended up in two pieces after my shot. The other time it  just came loose and made me lose an arrow cause it sailed over the target.  :bash:

I have the same rest and will be replacing it as well. I have not had it come apart but if you do not draw very smooth the arrow likes to pop off. And it is not full containment. The only good thing is that it is easy to tune and there is no such thing as a bow too fast to use it.

I'll be going to a ripcord.

I have a qad on one of my babys and love it. However I just shot my bull with a g5 expert pro 2. I like that rest also.

I have a trophy taker. I cannot tell you if it is the best drop away rest, because it has never given me a reason to take it off and try a different one.

The new generation Ripcord is amazing.  My hunting parnter has the qad and his gets in the way of his quiver.  You need spacers to get your quiver away from they thumb control on the QAD.  He just leaves two arrows out of his quiver because he does not want his quiver spaced to far away from his bow.  I wouldn't own one for that reason, otherwise he likes the way it shoots.

Full containment trophy taker is very nice.  Watch out for "good deals" on ebay or somthing online.  They are probably plastic.  Still work great tho.  I have the plastic one on my back up bow, 05' alligance and shoot the *censored* outta it.  Rockin the ripcord on my new destroyer and love it.  if torques bow on buss cable you can get attachment to go else where.  i didnt need it tho.
