Title: $200 for socks?

The Smartwool over the calf heavyweight hunting socks are by far the best socks ever!
Sooo cushy...and soft! And durable
I've worn them for the last several years...some were starting to get a little thin in the heels.
They are ridiculously expensive though!
I decided that I needed some new ones for this year, and they'll probably last me a few years....
Searching the internet I found a great sale and just ordered up 10 pairs! :dunno:

Anyway phenomenal sock...If you've never been excited about a sock, you never had a pair of these on!
Hmm....Maybe I should start looking for a woman.......

Post by: bobcat on September 08, 2011, 07:51:13 AM: I just get Costco's merino wool socks, $12 for 4 pair. They're probably not as good as the ones you're talking about but they work well for me. And you can't beat $3 a pair.

I got some Lorpin merino socks in a two pack off Camofire the other day for around $8.50 per package. So far, my only complaint is that I only bought 3 packs.

My favorite too, plus the liners, have lots of both...
