What type would you recommend?

There are pros and cons to both. Gas guns are dirtier guns, because of the excess gas reloading the gun, while inertia guns are much cleaner they tend to kick harder in my experience. If you are inbetween two guns get the one that fits. I personally like gas guns better, as long as you clean them.

I would pick the gun that fits and mounts the easiest for you. As mentioned the inertia are going to be easier to clean. Recoil is very similar these days with all the recoil reduction add ons that each gun has been accessorized with. My Benelli SBEII seems to swing a little faster than my Beretta Extreama 2. I shot the Benelli Super Vinchi the other day at it shot great with a light recoil. Other than being very different looking, it is super easy to take apart and clean. It was built for duck hunting.

Yeah I think I am torn between the Super Vinci and the SBE2. I've heard tons about both, so it's gonna come down to feel. Hello inertia systems haha

Recoil opperated :) nothing handles like an auto 5  just wish I could shoot some steel through it :(
