Wolves attacked sheep, and there herd dog. Whats the take on that think hunters up there got something to worry about? Especially with gettin something far away an havin the wolves get to em before you.
-
Not sure as I don't have much experience with these new mountain dogs. But I do remember my dad telling me to never bring a knife to a gun fight, I would think the same go's for them bringing teeth to that same gun fight, expecially over my kill.......

I'm a firm believer that their is wolves up their and in the clockum too. I believe that we should shoot all the high bread wolves until the can learn to put back the wolves that were here in the first place. The wolves that we are planting are bigger and more vicious than the one that were here before. The only good wolf is a dead one!!!!!!!!!

Technically if you kill one its not considered poaching since you can't poached something that the state says doesn't exist. :twocents:

Wolves have been confirmed and recognized by the WDFW in the Teanaway. Currently they are Federally protected but it looks like the Feds can see the writing on the wall as far as potential damage to wildlife and livestock. Hopefully the Feds will delist them and step down. Then the WDFW can come up with a management plan. Until then our hands are tied. I wouldn't loose any sleep over worrying about wolves bothering you while hunting. If a wolf pack does get aggressive then it would be self defense. Let em have it!!
-
I hope eventually they let us hunt them. I want a wolf mount or rug! :chuckle:

Where and/or when have you ever heard that WDFW says they don't exist? WDFW has confirmed a pack of wolves in the Teanaway.

You do realize that the Seattle Times had a photo of a Teanaway wolf on page A1 or B1 in late June

For those who didn't think we had wolves.... here is an article that was in the Daily Record about the Teanaway Wolves: http://www.dailyrecordnews.com/news/teanaway-wolf-pack-is-fourth-in-the-state-wdfw-says/article_7c280e36-a7f6-11e0-9725-001cc4c002e0.html?mode=story (http://www.dailyrecordnews.com/news/teanaway-wolf-pack-is-fourth-in-the-state-wdfw-says/article_7c280e36-a7f6-11e0-9725-001cc4c002e0.html?mode=story)

Have you done any scoutin this year and seen them *censored*s?

Well Hpefully the WDWF will get there heads out of there asses and see the damage that these will do to the teanaway deer and Elk herds. :twocents:

One thing that bugs me about wolves is that they hunt in packs, a bear or cougar doesnt bug me much but wolves on the other had make as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Its one reason I stay so sharp with my 45 :twocents:

any wonder why the mdfw let bow hunters carry a side arm ?
-
Wonder whenthey will discover their old school prey and they take down their first buffalo...bet that will go over well....
-
I say let the wolves multiply and migrate to the I-5 corridor. let them snag a few toddlers out of kiddy pools and then see how beautiful and majestic they are.
-
looks like a big yotey to me :chuckle:

me and my family have hunted teanaway for years and the deer population has decreased a lot. we just thought it was hunters until 2013 i was chasing a buck turned around saw something brown thought it was another deer.. was a wolf. family has seem the dogs in the same area 3 more times this year during the other season.
