About fifteen years ago I was hunting with my dad in the Taneum area and saw two wolves. Definitely wolves not coyotes. I told a WDFW officer about this and he of course said there was no way they were wolves. I called BS and he got pretty upset about it. Oh well know what I saw!

Yeah I'm pretty sure they knew about them long before it went public.

20 years ago, my brother and I saw three wolves just north of Lake Wenatchee, while scouting in late spring. Just after that we came to the end of the road and a trailhead, where a sign had been posted by the USFS with a picture of a coyote and a wolf, showing the differences, and letting people know that wolves are protected. I think it also asked people to call the Ranger District office if wolves were seen, but we never did.

Their has been wolves up there for a long time. To prove it true just type in clockum elk heard and clockum wolves and a guy killed one a couple years ago
