Title: muzzleloader sugestions

I need a muzzleloader. I am in South Dakota so I do not have any restrictions on type. What would you go with and why? Lets put a price cap at around $450.

It would be my suggestion that you look at a Knight DISC Extreme from Knight Rifles

Also Sportsmans Guide has Knight Visions on sale for around $200

But... in that $450-500 market there are a lot of good ML's

Post by: Rooster1981 on September 21, 2011, 01:55:29 PM: I'm a tradtional kind of guy when it comes to muzzies, I like to pour the powder and look down my sights. So I would go with a new lyman or a cabelas brand Hawkes rifle 54. cal. JMO

I have an Encore with a 7mm Rem mag barrel on it and if it were legal in this great state I would stick a .50 cal barrel on it in a heart beat. Just my :twocents:
