I think you did the right thing for the situation at hand. I personally would not tell anyone else in your local area; especially if that person knows who the guilty party is. People talk; word gets out and next thing you know he is gonna be on your doorstep and he will not be in a very good mood. Kudos to you!
I agree. If at any point his wife (or anyone) finds out, you will be the first person he thinks of. Not that any of it should be your problem, but he may feel otherwise.

Saving someone's life (like the cowgirl did) is a lot different than telling the wife of someone you don't know that her husband's cheating. No way he should take on a responsibility when he has no idea of the couple's circumstances or their demeanor. I think he took the right path by bringing it to the husband's attention and leaving it at that. They may be tweekers, they might be psycho (one or both). This is not the responsibility of an outsider.

It is amusing that people in here who are normally leery of our government and of being videotaped without their knowledge (as I am), are bucking for the exposure of these two to the man's wife, or to publicly "expose" them. It's none of anyone's business but theirs and the landowner's. last time we went there was an asian gal, a couple naked hippies, and us (myself, my dad, his girlfriend, one of my kids, and one of my 1/2 brothers) there was also broken bottles we fished out of one pool ...this was gosh I dunno 12 years ago, I bet its even worse now...when I was a little kid we used to go to the hot springs and it was pretty clean and safe....except for the naked people....if you are weirded out by naked people then its probably not a good place to go.... :dunno:
