OK.
i'm looking at getting a different camera.. looking at posts and internet the 2011 bushnell trophy cam sounds like a good choice.. since i have only had the primos (and liked it until now..) i only had it for 2 and a half months in the woods and now will not turn on just flashes a bit and shuts off. (yes i tried new batteries.. :chuckle:)
what do you guys like for cameras?
thanks

I've had my moultrie for several years now & still works great & have had no issues, even leaving it out for several months at a time or you can look under your front seat for the receipt & take it back. It should covered by a mfg. warranty for longer than that.

If you have seen any of my threads you'll see I'm a big fan of the bushnell cams. A little more money but for me at least the batteries last forever, ease of use is perfect for a dummy like me, and the pics come out good.

yep i have seen your pics.. i did alot of surfing and looking at threads and web reviews.
i think the bushnell is the ticket.
thanks guys for the replies

Send it back to primos. They'll send you a brand new one! They did for my truth cam 35... and then someone stole the new one, first time out.

I'm a trophy cam cheer leader :chuckle: Just stay away from the 2010 8mp cams and you will be golden. The 2011 8mp is working really well for me. I have the the cheaper model that is just IR not black flash. I personally wouldn't spend the money on all that. You should be able to find a cam like mine for 150 or less.

I got a moultrie too works great for me

I've left my Cuddieback out for months at a time even in the snow and have no problems with it. Taken lots of pics just nothing that would be of interest here

Primos generally has excellent customer service. Send it back to them and they will either fix it or send you a new cam. I have owned dozens of cameras and occasionally you will get new one that takes a dump so it really makes a difference to have good customer service.

thanks for the responses everyone. i think i'll just package it up and send back to them like mentioned.. i don't have the receipt but if they don't do anything for it i'm not out anymore than i already am...
better to try that than just toss it in garbage.
