Need some help, advice, if I'm in naches what are some good ways to get to the umtanum

Umptanum? Where on the Umptanum, general area, on top of the ridge? The term Umptanum, takes in a HUGE area, can you narrow it down, please.

I drew a cow elk tag for muzzleloading it is TMU 342 and says the umtanum, thanks for the help

if your in naches u can through wenas and that will take you into the umatnum

If you go to the Game Dept website, on the hunting page is a tab on the right hand side called "go hunt", you can download a map of the GMU you are looking for. This probably the quickest way. Good Luck! Oh ya you also, get the green dot maps from the Game Dept, headquarters in Yakima, give them a call, they have been good about mailing maps for just the cost of postage. Try Yakima county sherrif also, they had a map a coupla years ago of the area that was real good, it was for the off roaders, but showed GMU's and green dot roads also, don't know if they still have them, but worth a call.
