I'm gonna buy a new scope Friday. I'm looking at the new redfield or the
Newest version NIKON prostaff.
I'll be getting it in 2x7 power.
I have had great luck with NIKON prostaff scopes. And I have had an older
Redfield tracker scope that I liked. So I'm torn between the two companies
So ill let you guys make my choice for me lol. Which ever scope
Gets the most votes is what ill buy.
This will be mounted on a custom weatherby vanguard with 20.25" barrel.

3 weeks ago I would have voted Nikon, but......
I got a 3-9x40 Prostaff that wouldn't zero. Picked it up from Cabelas. When I called to swap it they had discontinued it. hmmmm?
I drove to Cabelas to see if they had any, no luck.
I ended up getting the Redfield. Can you say VERY HAPPY?!?! My buddy has a Lupy VX3 and he was impressed with the clarity on my new scope.
My vote is Redfield. :twocents:

i have the redfield and love it! hard to beat for the $$$
-
keep in mind the new redfields are now made by leupould in oregon.. with the same warranty..
-
I bought my son a new Redfield, seems like a great scope for the money, plus, like was mentioned above, it's really just a Leupold, and you can't beat them.
-
My Redfield has been on my Rem 700 for 36 years with no problem. Having said that, if I bought a new scope now, it would probably be a Vortex.
-
Redfield, hands down.
-
Looks like its redfield for me.
Thanks guys. I'll be back to complain when all I see is big bucks through it :IBCOOL:

BUY AMERICAN

I got the redfield scope today. I'm very pleased. It took 3 shots after bore sighting to get zero'd. It was Very easy to make adjustments. The clarity was a lot better then the nikon prostaff I was looking at as well.

I ordered a redfield a few weeks ago for my dad for christmas and i got to look through it a little bit before boxing it up and mailing it to hiim. It looked like a descent scope.
both the prostaffs and the revo's BFYB scopes. I hear the new prostaffs have zeroable turrets?
we've ran a few prostaffs in our family and the have been great along with a few buckmasters.

I have two nikon prostaff's, love them! super clear, let alot of light in.

I use the be a strictly nikon guy after having very bad luck with a couple leupold scopes fogging up. But after looking at the new prostaff scope I was very disappointed with the clarity. I prefer the old prostaff scopes over the new ones.
But that being said. After 2 days shooting with the new redfield I'm hooked.
