Was it in Idaho, if so what part? I have a good friend that is a Game Warden that just told me today that he checked in a black wolf. Small world so you never know if it is the same one...

More to the story.....The wolf was taken from close to his Idaho cabin just south of West Yellowstone.
There was a pack of wolfs that had killed 3 cows (cattle) and also some elk.

Depending on the area the limit is up to 40 per season. Sounds like he is heading out for a few more. Estimated 1000 wolfs in the state, but the state only requires 150 to stay out of the endangered species act for Wolfs. Idaho reduces the non res tags to $31. Go get ya one :tup:

All you need is a hunting license and wolf tag. The license is $154.75 the tag is $31.75
