Thought this would be interesting now that permits are already in and the results should be available next week. Do not use past history in your decision, this is for the 2008 season.
Thanks to Passion, a throphy=170 or better for this poll.

What is a trophy muley?
-
Passion you're killing me!!!
I realize what is considered a trophy varies from one hunter to another, so let's say 170 or better.

In washington? :chuckle:
OK I voted.
-
Yes, I would expect everyone to vote "other" if not. :chuckle:

Interesting voting so far, either I missed one or two prime units or people are voting "other" to keep hunters from their units. :dunno:

I have an other but im gonna keep it a secret may want to come back and hunt it again someday plus all my family hunts there still
-
NE area...there's some rippers up there.
-
The Desert Unit is supposed to be this states "trophy" area but is not getting many votes. I agree with the voting though, I think it is highly over rated.

Manson.

Last year out of Colville, I saw a muley buck that I would estimate about 34" wide( I have one on the wall at 38"), but could not get close enough to Him to take a muzzleloader shot. Settled for a nice whittail, but this year if He is still on the ranch, going to set up an ambush :chuckle:

i know nothing about mule deer quality in wa state. but if i could have it my own way, i'd love to hunt alladin or selkirk.

Let's see a pic of that 38incher.

:yeah: :oJB

I would have to say that Alkali has to be up towards the top. If they would stop letting the natives go out there all winter long and shoot the bucks then there would be some real monsters out there. But then again that goes for many of the areas in the state.
-
It is on the wall of the cabin at Detroit I will try and find a pic of it around here later in the week. I think I have some of it on the ground.
-
I voted other to see what everyone else voted!!!............................ :chuckle:
-
6 point- I sure would like to see that 38" buck you got.
-
It sound like there is alot of good secret spots for a good muley :)
