Was up the middle fork of the teanaway last week deer hunting and came across this. Goodbye elk heard!!! :bash: :bash: :bs:

cool, i am thinking of hunting with IBUPROFEN laced doggie treats.
not my fault if the stupid dog finds something on the ground and eats it.
-
Yup...thats a wolf track alright.....and a big one too.
I wonder how often a wolf just happens to jump in front of the direct path of a bullet from a hunter shooting at an elk? My guess is not often enough.
-
I wonder how you can succesfully judge a wolf size by its track? I bet that dog is over
100 lbs.

up the middle fork teanaway river. I usually see a ton of deer out there and it was like a dead zone same thing up the north fork.

It's a rear foot and it's actually normal in size. Paws of wolves are larger in comparison to their overall body size. Either way it would be unfortunate for that thing to accidentally get shot during hunting season. I wonder if we can get the state to give them BLAZE ORANGE collars! :chuckle:
-
Wonder if natives can hunt them up there and not get in trouble?
they can, but they wont.

That is funny.

Does anyone know how many are in the pack right now? I have heard of 3.

It's a damn shame, i havent hunted up there in a few years but my dad has property off of weil rd, and it used to be packed with deer and elk.

i wont have any problem euthanizing them from afar.
we bring a shovel hunting too.
