No offense but do you think you're going to run the risk of educating some wolves by calling them in with your caller and not shooting them??

It sounds like the same sort of thing as going out with your elk bugle and trying to call in some bulls. Once they spook they're educated.

Any washington resident going to hunt wolves in ID should do so right on the ID/WA boarder such as Moscow, ID. Good luck! Keep us posted.

If I was not just virtually as diagonally opposite across the State as possible, I'd throw down all the fuel and food expenses in trade for the time and money you have invested for the chance that either you or I could take a poke at one.  :(

I'll give you some company after New Years or sooner if I can get a lion up a tree before the end of the year.  I will be hunting down there some myself this winter.  Good luck!

yeah but the non-resident hunting license is $150ish, so around $180 when its all said and done.

Oh yeah gotcha. Thats a tough call, it would suck to see one without a tag. They are pretty ellusive animals.

I want to go but don't have the money for a tag yet. Once I get my income tax return it's on... How are you doing a mount? Or are you doing a rug? And about how much is it going to be? Thanks if you are still looking early spring I would be game.

I'll be in Pullman for thanksgiving. I would love to after some wolves.
Ive never had the opportunity but willing to split the cost of a hunt. Have some friends in idaho that I'm going to reach out to and see if I can get some inside info.
If I can't get out for wolves I'll be sticking to deer or elk at that time.
