What area are you hunting? Do some research on how to judge antelope.

Don't forget your tag. :chuckle:

If you're looking for a big goat always get two angles on the horns before shooting.
Know your equipment and limitations, and use a range finder.
If you see a shooter buck from your vehicle don't stop to look, drive out of sight and hunt back to him.
If you plan to have a shoulder mount done, do not drag out your goat, cut him in half and carry out the front end!
You'll smell a smell you've never smelled before when you get up to him :chuckle:
The best and the worst game meat I have ever had was from Prong Horned Antelope! Good luck and shoot straight.

Get one of those $99 memory cards for a GPS that shows the public/private land boundaries. :twocents:

Definitely get a chip for your gps and a good map so you know where you're hunting and who owns the land. If you're hunting public land the antelope are going to have a lot of pressure and that area doesn't have a lot of walk in areas so there will be a lot of vehicle traffic.
If you've got private land acces take your time and look over a lot of bucks before shooting. Their ears are about 6 inches tall, a good antelope is 12 inches or bigger. 15 inches is a really good buck for wyoming. Look for their cutters to be above their ears and about 6 inches of prong left above it including the curl. Its hard to find bucks with tall prongs so I just look for good looking bucks with fairly tall prongs, nice long cutters and the a good heart shape to them with the curl of the prongs coming in a good 3 inches and white tips with good mass all the way through.
Good luck, knock'em dead
