Suddenly, I get to go on a whitetail hunt in Saskatchewan starting Nov. 7 (guide payed for 8) ). I haven't hunted whitetails in about 25 years during the rut. What are some good scents these days?
Is it worth rattling or is it kind of late by then for that?
Also, recommendations for grunt tubes/bleat calls?
I am bringing my bow as well as rifle so hopefully I can get close enough to a nice one.
Thanks.

Back east may be different for whitetails, but back there, fox urine not only covers but attracts. I had a huge 12 point (6 out here) walk right into me as I nodded out on a stump at the end of a long day. Both of us almost crapped our pants. Several other times, I killed bucks who were nose to the ground following my trail. And, it smells so good, too!
