My thoughts are that it is not, but I wanted to ask. Was walking a local corn field and came across this.

It's really hard to say, because I can't judge the actual size of it in that picture. From the picture I wouldn't rule out bear. Or it could be coyote. But it all depends on the size of it. Next time try to set something of known size next to it before you take the picture.

I thought coyote too, but those are appearing to be cherry pits? Size was about a 3"x5-6" pile. (roughly?)
I thought Bigfoot too. Unfortunately, the pic of him running off turned out really blurry so I didn't post it. :chuckle:

Coyotes will eat just about any kind of fruit they can get. It's easier to "catch" than a mouse, squirrel, rabbit, or deer.

Assuming its near Custer I would bet coyote. But ya never know, a friend of mine saw a bear on H St. Rd. while road biking several years ago.

I gotta say I never thought dogs ate fruit? :dunno:

Coyotes and Bears are both Omnivores. They will eat meat and plants.
I see quite a few people posting pictures of Coyote crap and calling it Bear sign. Just because there are seeds in the scat.

My neighbor's pasture is full of crap like that and there are little to no bears around here. As said before, coyotes will eat anything and berries etc are very common to find in their poop.

I vote yote
