Title: 6 for 6 on opening day
Post by: blacktailer on October 17, 2011, 07:33:08 PM: It was quite an amazing morning for us this year. Had the great opportunity to hunt with my dad, my uncle, my brother, my nephew and my son. One of my lifelong buddies who bow hunted this year was also able to join us. Things couldn't have worked out better. No wounded or missed deer. We were done hunting by 11:00. Felt quite guilty/greedy but things just fell into place. Great weather, food and company. God is Good and really blessed us on this awesome hunting trip. Many good memories...

P.S. Hunter Orange was worn by all and removed for pictures only.

Seatown, that is indeed Uncle Mel and not only is he the Frasier River Sockeye/King Salmon Master, he is also the one who rounded up the biggest deer this year. I guess I should think twice before asking him back :) Alec, don't worry, Uncle Mel will be hunting with you guys real soon in Colorado. Hope you guys do well there

I have always wanted to go with mel over to the usual spot in winthrop, so I will make sure to talk him into going back over with you guys. Then maybe he will invite me to go with him :) :) :) Everytime Im at his house I have to spend about a half hour in his trophy room. Usually drooling :drool:
