Title: Blind Advice for a Livingston boat
Post by: ValleyHunter on October 23, 2011, 12:37:17 AM
I have a 12' Livingston that is dying to have a blind on it this year. Anyone have any advice on hooking a boat like this up? Boat already has camo on the outside and I was thinking about rigging the blind up with PVC and netting but am kind of daunted at where to start. Thx

PVC is easy to use in the meantime, but may break unless you use the heavier wall. Conduit or aluminum is another option.  You could make a frame and use the grass mats to camo the boat and make holes in the top for shooting or a canopy so you can shoot out of the sides.  I would look on some of the other duck hunt forums and looking under blinds.  There are a lot of good ideas to check out.  The last livingston I saw a guy had decked most of it and the hulls became decoy storage and he build a frame using chicken wire and conduit.  It was heavily grassed with a door in the front and one in the side for picking up decoys.
