Title: GRIZZLY ???

Post by: DeKuma on July 08, 2008, 06:33:43 AM: I originally would have agreed with the moose calf theory, but if you look, there is something that "could" resemble an ear on the left side, and the way the right front leg is turned and angled is strange. Not sure that I have ever seen a Cervid with its leg angled like that, almost like it is "pawing" at something? :dunno:

Post by: luvtohnt on July 08, 2008, 07:58:42 AM: Most definatly a moose, if you blow the picture up you cn see the fresh dung next to the calf, also from my experience grizzly's dont have a calcaneum (heel that never touches the ground) as seen on one of the rear legs in the photo.

Post by: Outfitter on July 13, 2008, 07:54:05 PM: If thats a moose calf, my salt block must be 3ft tall. Heres a calf mooses legs! and the droppings are from elk. There are alot of elk on this block everyday but never a moose.
