Title: My Sons First Blacktail Buck
Post by: blacktail luv on October 26, 2011, 08:20:46 PM: My 8 year old sons first blacktail. He hunted his but off for this buck and I couldn't be prouder. :tup: I'll write up a story tomorrow night.

One of my students showed me the picture of his first buck killed this last weekend, and it was really cool to see him talk about it. Looking forward to the story. Give your kid a high five.

I'll be getting my soon to be 8yo into hunters ed as soon as the next class opens up and if he gets his first buck that is half of that one I'll be extatic, Nice work young man, way to go !!! ;)

It reminds me of my sons first few years.He shot a 2pt,3pt and 4pt,I think it came to easy for him, he doesnt want to go anymore. Dad knows the real reason.His girlfriend showed him something,way better,or he thinks.Anyways great job dad and young man.

Oh yeah for the guy asking about the orange look closer at the pic. He has a vest on. That buck looks like a white tail too especially the antlers. Nice to matter what awesome job.
