I was crossing the Vantage bridge on I-90 for the youth pheasant hunt at the end of September, and mid span on the south rail stood a Jake just looking out over the river.... Can't imagine how he got there. Did not even think there were turks in that part of the country?

Jake's thinking how did I get up here and now what do I do. Jake must be friends with Barry the fence post turtle.

I've driven that road many times and never seen that :yike:

Was heading back to the truck during modern deer this year up in the Winston unit and jumped a big tom at like 10 feet. Scared the guff out of me and my hunting partner but was the only thing we saw that day! Had no clue there was turkey's up there.

Had them answering my cow calls above the 5300 ft level of the Little Naches unit in early November. It just doesn't surprise me anymore when I see or hear them in places and at times of the year I wouldn't have in the past ... I definitely feel that's great news for the sport.

Let's hear from other's on their strangest turkey sightings ever! A friend of mine saw a flock at the intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy 9 North of Snohomish!

I saw the same turkeys off Bunk Foss road a couple years ago at Hwy9 and Hwy2 in Snohomish. I sat and watched them. My sense is that someone local may have been trying to bolster the population.

THEY ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!!! (its a good thing)

I agree..I would love to hear gobbles every morning I wake up!

I've seen them multiple times in the cliffs west of sunland while duck hunting.

phantom- 8 or so years ago when I lived in Snohomish I swear I saw a few birds in the valley. It was in a field off river rd right in the middle of the valley. Went home and told my dad and he called BS. Told two friends of the family who have lived in clearview their whole lives and they said turkey vultures. I still swear to this day they were turkeys.
