Title: 117 Diamond Lake Help
Post by: elkhuntindad on November 03, 2011, 01:05:48 PM
I hope everyone has had a safe and successful season so far.  I usually hunt in 127, but was unable to make it happen during the early season.  I am going up by diamond lake with my father-in-law and have never hunted that area.  I have been up there and understand how THICK it can be, but I would greatly appreciate any help from anyone up in that area.  Are they chasing yet?  How is grunting working?  Thanks all and will post what happens this weekend!!

Good luck. I heard that it is more of a pre-rut show right now.

The whitetails are getting more rutty everyday now.  Not sure how they'll move in the storm over the next 24 hours, but once it passes they should be out quite a bit.
