You should be seeing rubs, even if the rut hasn't started. I've been seeing rubs since the first of October, and they really got going about mid-October.

Watched a buck breed a doe yesterday.... :dunno:
Same buck the day before had googly eyes for one of my heifers and ran her through several fences trying to get her to "give up"
-
Now that's just perverted! Almost as bad as that guy who died making movies out in E-e-e-e-e-e-numclaw.

Might be, but if an area becomes over browsed and the food source disappears the doe's tend to skip their heat cycle. Natures way I guess.

I'm looking forward to the late hunt. The rut is taking its time here. There's bucks chasing does but not many.
-
yeah seen lots of velvet rubs but no agresive buck rubs when its on in morton lewis county ull know it
-
The buck I killed on October 30th had shavings in the bases of its antlers from the tree it had just been rubbing. This is Rochester area. Surprised it would be that much different in Morton.
-
yeah its funny this year in morton mineral just not rutin yet period

I hunted all day around Morton and Randle on the 31st, only found one new rub line.......not there yet is what I saw. :twocents:
