too many hunters in my opinion. Swakane is better since you can shoot doe's there.Should be real good with this snow
-
I don't think swakane is a doe area this year, make sure first. Unless you drew a tag!!

Not open for doe's. But there are not any deer in the unit anyways :twocents:
-
way to many hunters, jumping in frount of you when you find a buck
-
Im just looking to fill a tag!! Dont care if its a buck or doe. Not sure if there is many does there, but that would be fine.
-
hunted it for more than 15 years now.cant think of a better place to hunt late season. it did take us about 4-5 years to understand the deer, their habits, tendencies, ect.

I'm ready....just got to get some fresh batteries and get my surefire strapped onto my stabilizer and I'm ready. Even picked up some fresh lum'noks in case I need to make long shots. Gets dark in them woods you know.
-
Don't forget your rage broadheads!
-
For those long shots it's better to use about a 300gr arrow and a 90# bow, so make sure to lighten your arrow and increase your bow poundage!

I need to find a pic of a skunk, my 3rd year archery, passed does the 1st 2 years. A 5 point took off at 25 yards drawing my bow on Saturday, had 6 full days out there this year seeing a total of 47 deer with none being within my 40-45 yard range cept for the buck that heard me draw.
Do I drive to Spokane for a weekend?... or post a skunk!
