I love the snow just as much as the next guy. many advantages such as making game easier to track, makes walking around very quiet, and its just fun to hunt in! however, im pretty sure its pushing all the elk out of little naches and the taneum stright to the feeding stations any one else with thoughts on this???? :dunno:

Just like last year I never saw any elk after the 3 day of the season in the little natches

I am thinking the same. I don't live over there to know for sure. I am thinking about hitting the rimrock if the elk havent jumped out of there yet. To much snow and it won't be worth my time. :IBCOOL: I am going to be chasing some benchlegs with a smoke pole in just about 1.5 day! :chuckle:

Trust me, there is still elk in little naches. they are there year round you just gotta know where to look, not all elk go to feeding stations.

well part of me wants to say you are right and there are no elk in little naches come late season, but you were both in the wrong spot, the more snow we got into last year the more elk there were, granted walking around in 3 feet of snow was a challenge but there was elk everywhere

ya thats all along the same lines I was thinking as well. when it comes down to it, just gotta get boots on the ground and find them!!! and remember to bring a shovel for the snow and tire chains :chuckle:
thanks for the replies guys!
