Wanted to start a topic that was all about screamin deals on gear for us. I know black friday is near and cabelas has some rockin deals. I've hears wholesale sports is also having some good times. Anywhere else?

Bought some Irish Setter pac boots, 8mm pacs and 400gr Thinsulate. Nice boot, on sale for $69 from Cabelas. My outfitter in SK bought them from me so I had to pick up a second pair.

yeah camofire is a good place to get some great deals. But there should be some good black Friday deals in some of the sporting good stores around too. I will be looking for sure.

After freezing my toes off during the late hunt in the Northport region, I went to Cabela's to buy some winter boots on Wednesday. The Cabelas Comfort Trac 1200g thinsulate boots had been in the online Bargain Cave for $89.99, but had been removed. They were $115.99 in the "in-store" bargain cave. The new ones were marked $119.99, so I got them as I could return them if needed. When they were rung up, they came up as $49.88, discontinued. Confirmed by a manager. Walked out with them at $54 and some change. Get them while you can!

HOLY SMOKES!!!! Had I not just bought new boots wednesday I'd be all kinds of over that. That's about a 20 dollar better deal than I got and I thought I was stealing mine!

I looked online and found them at the $49 price, but they only have them in a size 13. :yike:

As of Wednesday there were still plenty of sizes in-store. I'm finding Cabela's to have some really strange pricing. A month ago, they had Yugo SKS's normally $399, on sale for $199. When rung up, they actually sold for $129. The clerks in the store don't even know about the pricing. I mean, I like it. Just strange...

Its a surprise to everyone around. Cabelas forgot how much markup they placed on it so they had to guess at a reasonable price. Apparently the barcode guesses lower sometimes.
