Well my late archery tag starts today. Unfortunately due to work I won't be able to start til thanksgiving day. It looks like the weather is going to be good if it doesnt warm up too much. I'm chomping at the bit to get out there. Got new tires 2 sets of chains and hunting gear all laid out. I'll try and post lots of pictures of this hunt. Any last minute tips couldn't hurt either.

Snowing here in Wenatchee all morning but supposed to turn to rain/snow mix shortly but up higher should be good. Drive safe, hunt safe, good luck and have a great time!

The bucks have really started to move in during the last week or so.
Tip: Look behind the burned tree. Good luck and have fun. :IBCOOL:

Good tag. You'll see some dandies. I drew that a few years ago and ate tag soup but that was more by choice than anything else. It's hard to shoot a small one when your seeing big ones. I just could not close the deal. Good luck!!

My sister and Brother in law went over yesterday. My sister drew the tag for the 2nd time in 4 years. They saw some good bucks yesterday.Couple small ones so far today.

It's good to hear that the deer are starting to move. Are you talking about the tall burned tree or the short one? :chuckle:

This should be the ultimate year for that tag !!! good luck ....be sure to practice at those little longer ranges

Don't make offers you don't want to keep...lol. :chuckle: Your more than welcome to go out hunting with me and show me some secret spots  I'll be up there with my dad and daughter tagging along. I am looking forward to a great hunt with the end result buck being secondary to having a great time.

Saw some nice BIG deer up Crum Canyon last year (after hunting season, of course). Go all the way up the Crum Cy. road, to the top, going left at all road junctions. The left at the top goes back in forever, into nice deer country. The road going straight at the junction dead ends in 1/4 mile or so. Do take chains, especially with the storm systems we're getting now. I'll probably be over in 113 for late muzzle loader hunting the day after Thanksgiving. Good luck!

I don't have any secret spots really. People have already said where I would go but if you need a strong back to help you get your big buck out then just give me a holler. ;)
