Title: late archery elk success? anyone?
Post by: Elkrunner on November 29, 2011, 12:04:09 PM: Not seeing much going on. I was supposed to head out to Rimrock but work is not allowing me as of yet. I am hoping to get out of here on Friday. Is anyone seeing anything?

Tracked em into a little crick bottom only to track them back up to the road my truck was parked on in which they continued to walk down for a ways before going back into the very same crick bottom we had previously went into. The mouse won this round but tomorrow is a new day!

the 4pt and the cows i ran into did the same exact thing...i tracked them twice back up to the road i was parked on and the second time they walked a half mile down the road and it got dark on me...damn elk anyways lol
