always enjoyed viewing a thread like this in the past. Didn't see one started this year, so I'll start....

2011 Observatory any bull, walked up to him leaned my rifle against him and took the pic. Turned out a little fuzzy but you get the general picture. His antlers stopped what would have been a world class trip down the side of the mountain.

Here is my buck after he stopped tumbleing down a steep hill. hard to see how steep it is, but his head, neck and antlers tucked up behind his back to stop the rolling.

2011 elk, DRT! Like my buck, she rolled down a hill into the bottom! The elk did not roll near as far.

Here he is. I was able to fill 2 deer tags and 2 elk tags this year. Nothing really huge but all respectable. This was today. As he lays.

The best I can do with my Roosevelt Elk. Didn't have the digital camera with me on this trip (It was almost dark), and forgot to take good pictures the next morning before packing him out. I was bummed when I saw the disappointing pictures taken the evening before with the disposable.

2011 Peaches Ridge Modern Bull, a little blurry, camera didn't like my exitement in the cold and the sunrise in the background for clear pictures, how i found him after the two steps he took and kicked around in the little bit of snow.

i got a good one for this topic, but its not "as it lays" cause my archery bull died standing up! Proud bull! Died with his head held high! his legs gave out and his head/neck was wedged between some blowdowns. got to get the pic off old phone. we watched and video taped his last few moments(after another well placed shot)

Yes, he is... We just euro'ed it and put it up on the wall in the man-cave. :tup: I'll take some pics and post them when I get home. We will do a full head mount eventually, I just don't have the time to do one right now...

I am not going to lie, it's pretty nervewracking to watch your 12 year old take a 300 yard steep uphill shot at a 150 class whitetail... :o

great week of hunting I shot the blacky about 4 hours before we got this bull. and my buddy here on Hunt WA shot a masher Muley 3 days later maybe he will post an as he lays pic of it.

there was a bull down at oak creek feed station I think it was last year that had a dropper just like that one. Might be the same bull :dunno:

I bet that was fun getting the bull out of the creek! Same thing happened to me a couple years back, except it was a bigger creek. Had to gut it and quarter it in the creek!
