Cool video. Looked to be a darn good bull, too. I liked seeing the excitement in the dogs; they were truly having fun.

That's just awesome! ... ever think about video documenting an entire hunt?

Hey Todd ID, to quote Mr. Baxter Black,"to a cowdog, every day is saturday", they truly enjoy life on the trail. FF

Fill us in. The packs looked full.

That was the bull we posted the picture of earlier on my black mule Sara. Then the hunter posted a couple of the bull as he fell. The video looks like we were on a trail, but we whacked our way down the ridge to where the guys had packed the bull to. Next time in there we will have a decent trail. That is why Sas's mule has the packboards. They had boned out the meat so you don't see any legs of the bull. I prefer to not have the cape on the head but that is how it worked out. The dogs are part of our outfit and usually are that active.. The hunter Neal has made a video of the hunt with short clips he put together. He might put it on here with a little persuation.

Yes to that, the average cow dog makes the average tweaker look like it's on Thorazine.

Here's my video of the hunt, sorry no kill shot and it's kinda long.

 Looks like it was an awesome hunt! Way to do it to it.

Do the dogs serve any specific purpose? Or just there to have fun? Seems like a community trend to have dogs on the pack string. Awesome!
-
nice work man! you and your crew.

They do a good job of keeping the nuisance mule deer does out of camp and out of the horse feed.
