Got my first pintails ever today ( got a limit of TWO ;), plus a greenhead. These liquid lunches are the way to go! What I mean by that is that I don't have a retriever. I'm my own retriever and it was my third swim this week in so doing.

Grasshopper Let Me Teach You Ancient Hunting Secret:
Take your spinning rod with you behind the seat of your truck. Have a large treble hook with 3 or 4 split shot or a rubber core sinker as close to the hook as possible. It will even work well with sinkers tied on the end and no hook. Cast out and reel in your ducks. Any decent fisherman will land a duck in a few casts, if your not a decent fisherman, you will be in a week or so of liguid lunches. :chuckle:
