Title: Where to go in Wyoming?
Post by: SI Eagle on December 10, 2011, 02:52:00 PM
I have 3 points for deer in Wyoming and am looking at going on a hunt next year with my son.  Was thinking about Region G or H but have never been there.  Any suggestions? Thanks

Read up on the areas, I believe if you a non res in Wyoming you have to have a licensed guide to go into wilderness areas to hunt, but I could be wrong.  We hunt region C, easy to draw but is about 99% private, but like us you may find a farmer/rancher that will let you hunt his property.  good luck

Hunted in G a few years back, we hiked 15 miles a day and I only saw 4 deer. There are some nice bucks in there but a lot of hunting pressure and very few bucks. You have to work really hard to get one!
