Title: American Arms Silver 20ga O/U
Post by: BB on December 16, 2011, 08:22:34 PM
Just picked one up last weekend at the WAC Gun Show and didnt ask the seller what the chokes were set at. Im assuming the bottom is Mod, but not positive the top barrel is set F...  Is anyone familiar with this gun that can confirm the top is set at F?

This is a fun gun to shoot!

Thanks.

Is there any markings on the side of the barrels where they lock into the reciever. On some guns there are ** or XX or some type of marking like that. Look there first. If there is nothing there any good gun shop will have a choke measuring tool and they can tell you what constriction it is.

IF it is a used gun, I would measure.

My 20 say full on the barrel.  It has been bored out to IC.

Don't believe everything you read!!

Like 509 says measure it with a set of calipers to be certain.  The markings may be accurate with one * or other mark indicating full and going from there.  Pattern the gun at various ranges will tell you how it like the loads you shoot which will provide you the most detail.  Enjoy!
