If you were hunting nas whidbey island and you decided to start shooting at 0705, thanks for breaking the law and screwing everyone else out of the days hunt. I'm not sure why people can't follow the law and do the right thing. we are in the military and hold ourselves to very high standards. absolutely unsat in my opinion. read the regs and know whats going on.

LOL In Edison this morning they were banging away at 7:00......Get use to goob fest... Military or not. Some of the worst hunting I have seen is on military
-
never seen anything like it until i moved here. its rediculous. really pissed me off when i see hundreds of shootable ducks fly right over my head and i cant shoot em.
-
how did it mess up your whole day :dunno:

I would guess that flushing birds out of the area before legal shooting is what he's talking about.
-
That sucks but odds are, the people won't read it here.

that makes no sense :dunno: or maybe hunting over there is different :dunno:

Can you clarify which part is confusing? The "ruined..whole day" part? The flushing birds before legal shooting? Or?
-
The first wave of the birds going from bedding area to the bay is the primary time to shoot. yes the birds fly all day but this is a cumulative of many issues with the same people hunting the area. I was so pissed that I had to watch hundreds of mallards fly feet away from me and couldn't shoot that it ruined the whole day. most people would have shot anyways but I do have principles and integrity. no excuse for this kind of crap.

I was there with another huntwa member and dealt with the same thing :bash: It souded like blind 6 or 7 did the early shooting. What blind did you have today? I was over in 4 skybusting at the geese around 0900:chuckle: I saw the mallards fly over us from the blind 2 direction. :bash:
-
I hope that person missed whatever he was shooting at
-
I drove around after that and nobody was in 2,3,6,7.
-
There were some in 7 I saw them loading up, and a young guy in blind 5. Where you in blind 1 today? I heard a few shots around 0800

If you know what blind it was coming from you can tell the lady that reserves the blinds and the MA game warden will talk to them. Just tell them what happened usually fixes the slackers that hunt there.
-
Yep plan on it Monday when I turn my sheets in. Tori is the one to talk to there to get Sheet done :twocents:
-
i was in 1. sounded closer than 7. did yall do any good?
-
no I shot one bird, and it glided way out in the bay. My dog tracked the fall, but by the time he got out there it had swam away. :bash: We were skybusting, but on days like today its hard not to. :chuckle: Could have been blind 5 then, but from wehre I was sitting in 4 it sounded like it came from the housing side right around blind 6/7. If it had glided any farther, it would have landed in the lower game range :bash:
