I can't really afford expensive optics, which led me to buy a 3X9X38 Weaver scope about 10 or 12 years ago. This late white tail season, on day 2, it fogged. Luckily, I'm a big believer in having a backup gun in camp, and was able to continue the week.
I sent it in to Weaver (without a receipt) earlier in the month, after receiving authorization. UPS just delivered a nice new Weaver Classic V Series 2X10X38 matte scope. Certainly an equivalent or better scope.
If you can't afford one of the expensive scopes we all dream of having, I would suggest trying Weaver!
