Great photos Brian!
Thanks DBHawthorne, a few of them you should look familar to you :-) Do you ever think we are coveing alot of ground? we are but then you think of how much we drive by going to where the map says to go. we arn't even scratching the surface.
-
That's for sure. There is a lot of good ground out there. People always ask me about having a honey hole but I just tell them eastern washington is my honey hole. I have yet to find a unit that doesn't hold good numbers of great bucks.
-
These are some great Pictures, what camera are you using?
mostly i use the moultree, but have use a lot of them these are some of the good ones i still get my share of not so good ones also. all the new cames seam to do a good job if you but a middle of the line cameras

-
Geze, showing the bulls junk. Really!!! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: I guess it could not be much worse then Rasbo's mole skin thong
-
Makes me think of a new thread "post up your best junk pictures"....That could be intresting.....
-
That's definitely a wide whitetail. I am guessing somewhere between 24-26 but then I have never seen a whitetail that wide in photos and then on the ground so I could be off.
I would move those pics down to your most current post and then in the title put Updated New Photos: How Wide is this bucks? (that will let people know there are new photos to view.
-
Thanks still new to this good idea,
-
How wide is this White tail.
-
Nice buck Brian! Let me know where I can go pick up his sheds and I will tell ya how wide he is! Looks to be at least 24" maybe bigger. :dunno:
-
Haven't even been out looking, you're right the majority are still packing I have only seen one, other than the one I shot that has shed so far this year and that was my big 5x5.
-
I have seen a couple mature bucks that have dropped now, so they are starting.
I would say he is right at 24" inside :twocents:
-
Great bucks Brian
-
Hmm....wide enough! His ears are pinned all the way back in the first pic, and a little cock-eyed in the second so it makes it hard to judge. Id say at LEAST 24". I think the thing I like most about this buck is his mass though, hes a thick *censored*!
-
24...That funky looking buck is going to be something this year
-
Great bucks Brian

-
Great bucks Brian

Not yet Brian. My taxedermist aka bro in law decided to build a house instead of finish my buck.....the nerve :chuckle: . Hopefully he will be done soon.

all except one.... :chuckle:
Wonder which one your referring to, lol had to show the wife, got a kick out or that one! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Thanks I kinda, thought that was the best trail cam pic i have. :chuckle:
-
Makes a person wounder if they ever kill them? i have always thought about it but didn't figure it was possible, that a bobcat would or could kill a deer. But when i use to hound dog. I killed one that was 41.5 lbs and he didn't have a full belly? maybe a yearling. They are a lot tougher than a coyote but not near as persistent.
-
A couple golden Eagle pic's look how big the bird is compared to the deer he's eating on.
-
That whitetail/bobby pic is awesome. And the eagle too!
-
Cool pic Brian! They are big birds. A few years back we were out at my parents for Thanksgiving dinner in Hunters and watched a Golden Eagle swoop down on a doe. It actually picked up the back end of the deer.
-
Awesome pics, thanks for sharing.
-
Very cool...keep em coming
-
You get some unique photos, very cool eagle shots, those are awesome!

A pic i get asked about fig i would share. i all ways fig. it was a bear but this is the only pic i ever got of it.
-
Yogi
-
Young bear. You figured correct.
-
Awesom pictures!
-
a couple bear pic's in the snow, one only 5 deg. out
-
Cool picture but WTH is it doing? That's an odd position it's in. Also, if it's 5 degrees why does the picture say 36? Curious about that because my Primos 46 consistently reads 15 degrees lower than the actual temperature. Been wondering how accurate the temperature is on other trail cams...

it didn't post the first time i down loaded it it should be on there now, The first one i think is scratching him self i think sitting on a mineral lick
-
OK, pretty unusual to see bear activity at this time of year and that cold of a temperature. That's pretty cool to get a picture like that.
So how accurate is the temp on your camera anyway?

They seem to be rite on the money with the one in my Toyota, they don't always work the best when it gets below 0 a little slow it seams.
-
OK, good to know. I think I'm going to take my Primos cam back to Cabelas and exchange it for a new one, just for that reason. I could see being off by 1 or 2 degrees but 15 seems excessive.
-
You get some unique photos, very cool eagle shots, those are awesome!
:yeah: had to quote myself because once again you get some unique photos. You get a A+ for originality, from bobcats chasing deer, to Eagles, and now a bear kicking it in 5 degree weather in the snow. Can't wait to see whats next.
-
Pretty sure the pic up top is bigfoot kneeling over, wouldn't surprise me with you. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
