Think I may have figured out how to post pics so here goes. My daughter found this When we was out last March. I was very proud of her, and she was also.

It was cute, on the way home she wouldnt let go of it and asked me if it was hers and if she can keep it, I told her of coarse it is, you found it. Had to stop by and show gramps on the way home also. She wants me to make a coat rack for her new room she will be getting shortly.

That's great. You could tell from the picture she wasn't going to let go of that thing.

I just saw this thread and I have to say, for me being a mom and a hunter, I love this picture more than any trophy picture. A girl in the woods with her dad, finding something most people never even look for, one of the true treasures of the outdoors. You should be (I know you are) so proud. LOVE THIS!

Awesome! Can't wait till my daughter is old enough to go, she will be a year in march.

Congrats to your daughter. Glad to see you were showing her the correct way of not harassing the animals with snow machines or while they are on their winter range!!

That's cool! Wish I could find a shed like that!

Thanks for comments, we had a great time going last year. She was seven at the time and it was the first year she could really be mobile on her own, and it was a good learning experience for her, and a good time of the year to do it. I got to show her game beds, rubs, different tracks, droppings, etc and explain the differences. She also passed her hunters safety at 7 years old, but I passed on letting her hunt big-game this year but was glad to get her going on points so when she is ready she will have a great opportunity. Thanks again! :)
