Good watch. Did you notice that near the end, he said that they traveled to the "headwaters of the Cascades, the Patomic River"?

Pretty cool gun, though

Who would have know, that was neat. I always understood it to be the Columbia River, maybe I missed something. Always felt most of my history teachers were tree humping idiots anyways. Didn't pay them much attention.

Everyone who was born 200 years too late should read "Undaunted Courage - http://www.amazon.com/Undaunted-Courage-Meriwether-Jefferson-American/dp/0684826976

I read this book and "The Journals of Lewis and Clark"
http://www.amazon.com/Journals-Lewis-Clark-Expedition/dp/0395859964

Jefferson, Lewis and Clark should be considered in the top 10 greatest Americans of all time. Their dedication to Jeffersons vision was amazing and in hindsight for Lewis very tragic.

After all of this profound reading I never registered the importance of the air rifle until I saw this video.

It is kind of confusing how the Curator of the NRA's National Firearm Museum confused the headwaters of the Cascades with the Potomac river. The headwaters of THE COLUMBIA do not even originate in the Cascades. They are in the BC Rockies.
