Title: OP Elk advice
Post by: twolabs on December 30, 2011, 03:42:28 PM: Gonna try and hunt for elk up around forks next year it's been about 10 years since I've hunted. not looking for secret spot just general info, advice.

Post by: buglebuster on December 30, 2011, 08:28:27 PM: A lot of elk around there. Get a couple trail cans and start scouting and figuring out the land as soon as you can. The more time you spend in the woods figuring out the elk, the better chance at nothing a tag you have.

What kind of hunting will you be looking to do...weapon/terrain. If it's been about 10 years, there have been a few changes to some areas.
