First time I ever saw a canvasback was at Lake Terrell today. This drake and his hen went zipping by about 7:45 this AM and I got off a lucky shot..
It has been really slow all season and today was no exception. The guys in the next blind did manage to whack a goose, though. Date stamp on my camera is off a day.

Nice job.

Not to bad of day. What are the 2 ducks on the outside :dunno: Also, how many dekes did you have out

Good lookin bird. Congrats. I missed an opportunity today on the lower Columbia. My partner and I just finished our 3 bird limts on bluebills so we were picking up those decoys to set up at another spot for puddlers when a nice drake canvasback dropped right into the decoys right in front of me. Of course I left my gun in the blind.

Congrats on the Bull Can. Still looking for my first one. Have harvested a Hen Can on Fir Island and a Hen Can in the Snohomish Valley.
