Some guys and me at work were talking about trying bow fishing this year. Has anybody tried bowfishing on the Yakima Delta wildlife area? Or around that area? I've seen tons or carp out there
-
Yes, I do it a lot around there.....
-
Thanks. Do you bowfish from the shore or from a boat?
-
from a boat.
when it warms up and the water is clear get up with me. I would be glad to take you out.
-
There should be tons of carp in that area for you to shoot. From both bank and boat I am sure you can find some to stick
-
I do a lot of wading and shooting in tri cities. Id be glad to join up with anybody in tri cities to shoot carp. Send me a pm. There's plenty to go around!
-
Maverick,
Let me know when you want to head out on a boat. Im always game to go whenever.
Goose.

Yea bud sounds good. Maybe we can do a lil bass fishing too. I have some honey holes.
-
Sounds like a plan to me. If the bass fishin' doesnt work we can switch to catfish. I've caught a good number around, this past year.
when it warms up, I will meet both you guys at the boat ramp and the 3 of us will go out for a day on the water. Boat is plenty big enough for the 3 of us.
Doesn't look like we are going to have a huge snow melt this year which should allow the area to be nice and clear earlier in the year.

Sounds like a plan! I didnt do too much cat fishing last year but I did slay the bass!

I spent a lot of the summers in my youth in the Burbank sloughs. My Aunt lived right in town and I used to walk from her place out to the ponds. Used to fish in there alot. The flats just behind the outter most delta would probably be some great carp areas. Depending on the water level I bet it would be a great spot too. The sloughs would probably offer some good wind protection too??
