Title: Bowfishing around the tricities
Post by: satchel3006 on January 08, 2012, 02:47:30 PM: Some guys and me at work were talking about trying bow fishing this year. Has anybody tried bowfishing on the Yakima Delta wildlife area? Or around that area? I've seen tons or carp out there

when it warms up, I will meet both you guys at the boat ramp and the 3 of us will go out for a day on the water. Boat is plenty big enough for the 3 of us.

Doesn't look like we are going to have a huge snow melt this year which should allow the area to be nice and clear earlier in the year.

My Aunt lived right in town and I used to walk from her place out to the ponds. Used to fish in there alot. The flats just behind the outter most delta would probably be some great carp areas. Depending on the water level I bet it would be a great spot too. The sloughs would probably offer some good wind protection too??
