A week after the season this guy is walking through my trail area. I had a lot more pics, but I think I need a salt lick to get them to slow down enough for the camera to catch. There are a couple of big ones in the area, but every pic I have of any of them is at night. Elusive jerks...
*PICS ADDED 1/13* Going through my old photos that I never really checked, I found a few more from the summertime in an area quite close to the one that has the Nov pics. I'm not sure that it is the same buck, but it is a dandy. Too bad ALL deer pics I have of these big bucks are at night. It is too thick to get on them during the day. Late rut didn't help this year either.

I don't think salt will help at this time of year. I'm still using apples and have been since late August. But if you can't get any apples maybe try some COB. I'm going to have to try something else for bait soon, as my apply supply is dwindling fast.
Just feel lucky you were able to get a picture of a decent buck. I haven't got much of anything except two little spikes since the end of November. I'm thinking the bucks are holding tight in a small core area and not moving much. I keep moving my cameras around trying to catch them but haven't yet. I was hoping to learn where their living room and/or bedroom is so I can find their sheds in another month or two.

Yeah date on the pic is Nov 7th. I got a ton of pics of nice bucks in mid Nov say the 5th-17th. Not much after that. I am moving my cams literally right over beds I have found to try to see if I can get a picture of a decent buck before they drop. Bigger bucks seem to have not moved muc since November

Shows how observant I am! I didn't even notice it was a 11-7 photo, I thought you had just got it. Sounds like we both have the same dilemma. The last month and a half all I got pictures of is the two little spikes and a 1x2. I guess the big bucks are tired and trying to recover from chasing does and not eating anything for a month straight! I would just like to see that some of the good bucks in my area are still alive.

Added additional pics 1/13 to original post.
I think the click on these Primos cams helps make them stop sometimes. I was not really thinking about attracting them with salt, mostly just using it as something that'd get them to stop. This is a ways in and I don't have a huge desire to crate a bunch of apples in on my back.

Here's some zoomed in a little, and contrast adjusted (on the second batch that were hard to see).

I have tried just about every deer block on the market. The one that whitetails love here is made by Country Acres Feed Company. When the snow is on and feed is short I will get 2-3 days off a block! It is turning into an expensive hobyy.
